As per the MLC 2006 Convention, seafarers have the right to file a complaint to the employer, or directly to the Cyprus Flag State Authority, Shipping Deputy Ministry (for more information please click HERE).

Our crew manning agent has a responsibility to assist seafarers to sort out serious disputes that may arise in relation to their employment. In accordance with the Cyprus act on the Protection of Persons Reporting Infringements of Union and National Law dated on 4th February 2022 (published in the Official Government Gazette under the number 4872), which implements the EU Directive 2019/1937 on the protection of persons who reports breaches of Union Law, the company developed a dedicated procedure for this purpose.
